Many, if not most, of Michal's clients are highly influential. Because of their positions of power, they impact the lives of many others. These clients, whether they are in business, legal, academic or arts professions, may also have the social power to influence the outcomes and events that effect significant populations of people.

Because they have this influence, they are 'leaders.'

Michal's personal mission is to work with leaders who want to inspire, manage and lead others with more personal authenticity and integrity - and with more effective, practical wisdom, for the greater good.

'Integrity' and 'authenticity' are key character traits enabling leaders to be true to themselves. Being true to themselves, these leaders accurately represent - privately and publicly - their internal states, intentions and commitments in such a way that they are 'felt' by others to be 'real' and authentically powerful. Of course working with Michal is a very private and effective way to address any disjunct between the private and the public, and to ensure the constructive integration of personal and public positions.

Real, authentic leaders accept and take responsibility for their feelings and behaviors. They own these feelings and behaviors and reap substantial benefits by doing so.

The word 'integrity' comes from the Latin integritas. It means 'wholeness, soundness, whole and entire.' In terms of behavioral criteria, it means -
  • a pattern of behavior that is consistent with espoused values - walking one's talk, or practicing what one preaches
  • upholding personal moral convictions, even if those convictions are not popular
  • treatment of others with care and respect, including those in need; sensitivity to the full impact of decisions that affect others
'Authenticity' is the recognition that there is an authentic self beneath the multiple personas, capable of growth and every-increasing contact with the rich meanings embedded within human nature.

An authentic person who is in integrity with himself or herself is aware of the feelings they are experiencing, is able to live these feelings, be them, and is able to communicate them if appropriate.

'Wisdom' is involved when practical intelligence is applied to maximizing not just one's own or someone else's self-interest, but rather a balance of various self-interests with the interests of others in the context in which one lives and makes decisions - such as one's family, profession, business or environment. Usually a combination of all these interests needs to be wisely balanced.

'Authentic leaders' who lead with integrity and wisdom exhibit the following character and behavioral traits -
  • are able to see and feel into the heart of important problems
  • have insight into the motives and behaviors of themselves and others
  • are confident, straight-forward, forthright, and candid in dealing with others
  • are often turned to for advice
  • behave in an ethical, consistent manner
  • posses an 'inner power' that is felt by others, and respected
Michal's objective is to mentor any leader, or aspiring leader, to achieve a more sophisticated sense of his or her self - with higher and more enduring levels of authenticity, integrity and wisdom. This process brings out the best in each individual, the most effective performance, greater happiness, well-being and satisfaction - exceptional leadership qualities - in the context of the greatest good.
