Though so many have and still do consult me as an intuitive and mentor, for many years I lived a highly conventional earth bound existence. Much of it in a place steeped in history and tradition - London.

I've passed the milestone of fifty, and my children are building full lives and good careers. My life has been a rich progression of many different experiences and emotions. From the huge African skies of my earliest childhood, to the heady days of London in the sixties, to the rigor of a top-level journalistic career, pain and pleasure, physical and mental challenges, as well as solitude, are no strangers to me.

Until now it feels as if my life has been like a series of small rivers, some fast flowing and dynamic, others emerging slowly from an underground source, but now I sense them all coming together in a great torrent.

It feels as if I have followed what I need to follow forever, but I have done so more consciously for the last seventeen years, understanding as the time has gone by, a little more. And the flow, the sense of the streams combining into the river that is gathering to become a great force, is ever stronger, perhaps it's closer to earth, closer to being fulfilled.

What I have done over the years is share with study groups the very particular, the special knowledge that I've accumulated. I have created many classes that cover a great deal of what I know about Energy. Not just because it is interesting, but because it plays a vital part in the process of human evolution that we're all locked into.

And, that evolution isn't just about the change of the human body. Evolution is about the process each and every one of us is engaged in for the transformation from the unconscious to the conscious, from the dense to the fine, the assimilation of our gross physical bodies with our wider further dimensions.

Evolution is the key now to the desperately needed change from playing a part in the destruction of our universe to playing a part in its salvation. That evolution is the transformation of each and every one of us - and it needs to happen now.

I've given an important part of my life to understanding Energy, and more, what's behind it. That's how I've learnt about the process as the extraordinary quest of co-operating with evolution.

It's about doing everything I can to authentically awaken first my own Energy - only I did not know that was what I was doing when it started - and later the Energy in as many of my fellowmen as possible.

And, you can't underestimate the importance of that word - authentic. The process isn't real, it can't happen, unless it is authentic - really real. It is not just a product of a marketing exercise, or a scheme to get rich.

When we're able to authentically awaken our Energy - and it has to be authentically - we will be able hold hands and to lift our planet out of the path of the destruction that threatens us, to rest in the next level that I am certain waits. That is the positive path of the evolution of our universe.

Because of who I am it's not something I've pursued by turning away from the ordinary world and embracing mysticism. It's true that at times I have lived more in the so called "other world", or at least in a much extended reality, rather than in this one.

Knowing the beauty of existence beyond this reality has been crucial in supporting me and making everyday life possible for me. But, at the same time, I've never lost sight of the fact that I, we are here, born to live on the earth, and charged with protecting the sanctity of life. My life has been, and is, so much more than the embrace of the wilder, wonderful shores of mysticism, and it's important that you are not side tracked by those shores. Let me explain.

I came from a very conventional, achievement-oriented, if socially conscious, background. I've been a television reporter and presenter for the BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation, and a serious journalist. I am mother to two children who now, many years later of course, are wonderfully grown. That is where I came from, where I was when "it" happened.

"It" was the revolution that overturned my consciousness, and forced me to acknowledge that the universe was much, much wider than I had ever dreamt. And, those levels of reality I thought of (if I thought of them at all) as science fiction were real. They broke through, in an immensely dramatic process, to show that they are part of me, all around me.

And by making themselves known, they were begging me to participate in showing them to others where they are buried too. Knowing those other levels means that I am bound to the effort to give others access to them, and so make them and their message, reality.

I wrote the story of how it happened. It's called "The Pool of Memory - The autobiography of an Unwilling Intuitive." But I wrote the story when I hardly understood what was going on, how it happened or what it meant. It was the record, no more and no less, of what happened in the extraordinary time when, what I jokingly call "the other world" broke thorough. And I was learning, learning a great deal, which later I begun to really understand.

The bare bones of the story are simple. I felt pressure, enormous pressure on my life, despite a great job, enough money, wonderful children, friends, and much else. Its true I had suffered through divorce but that alone did not seem enough to justify how I felt. I felt as if something was inside me, tearing up my insides and would give me no peace, ever. The pressure was so great that eventually I took a sabbatical

During that sabbatical, very much despite myself, because I had no interest at all in anything esoteric, I started to meditate. Not any meditation, but one that came to me, and after that another. The initial mediation I teach now, I call it taking the LEAP. LEAP stands for Life Energy Awareness Process - some of my students know it a meditation.

The first time I sat down, in despair, to do what I scornfully thought of as meditation, a last ditch attempt to find peace, I took no trouble. I expected nothing at all, only perhaps that I would be bored and give up quickly. I didn't sit in any particular way, light candles, say mantras or anything else. I just closed my eyes. What followed defied belief!

It was as if I stepped out and beyond the known world and found myself in another domain. One with beings, or entities, a story running - and with every evidence of being another reality, a place that had location, geography. It was there that a great deal happened to me. For many months I visited that place for hours every day and still today, if I want to go there, I have access.

As a result of entering that domain, and what happened there, my life was transformed. My purpose was completely altered, even my body changed. Among the gifts, or responsibilities that followed, was the ability to see Energy, and to understand what I was seeing.

I was taught. Only, at the time I did not know how to make sense of what I was learning though I took copious notes of what happened. But, as the years have rolled on I understand.

Now, I have worked as an intuitive for many years, and as a healer too. I have worked in universities teaching Energy to those at the forefront, in businesses, and used my sight to further technology attempting to aid the human race. I even saved my own life by the sight that saw a tumor when contemporary western and complimentary medicine saw nothing.

I have faced huge challenges, not least physical - losing my hearing on one side, losing one half of my face for several years, having to learn to walk again, and more. But still, I am tightly gripped by the knowing that has infused me for so many years.

The years have passed. Now, not only can I use the knowledge, but I know what I was taught. And I teach it, very carefully, to others - from university professors, to doctors, to celebrities, to business leaders. In each sector of society, there have been a few individuals, small groups at the very forefront, who have come to me and wanted to learn.

When asked, I have taught them. Always being careful to retain the purity and authenticity of what I was given - not simply to sensationalize it and make the most money, or give it away to those who would not understand its value. And facing a public in this guise has not been an easy prospect for me.

But, as the need has grown, so the pressure on me to share my knowledge has grown. Now, it is essential for me to offer it to you, who share this common need to go further - to understand more, to be more. It is because we are the future. It is because we can and will change our reality.

In sharing with you, I will aim to awaken your Energy, to empower you so that you can play the greatest part your potential dictates in this transformation - it's an overused word, but it describes what we are doing, accurately. It is the truth.

So, to begin, let us start together with what have I learnt both from my journey and the years that followed.

We need to begin with an understanding of what we call in everyday life - Energy. I invite you to join me in the quest to understand Energy.

As you gain an understanding of Energy, you will be able to transform your own energy. By doing so, you will transform your life, and become able to play your part in transforming our world.
